About us

Our Mission

(Why we exist)

To make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ

Our Vision

(The outcomes we desire as we fulfil our mission)

God’s kingdom growing. God’s Name being honoured

Our Values

At St. Clement’s Anglican Church, we have six values that shape and define us.

We value God above all else. We believe in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. In all that we do, we want to see God’s name honoured above all others because he alone is worthy of such honour. We want to be a people whose love of God is clearly evident and always growing. See Mark 12:30 and Revelation 4:11.

We value the Bible as God’s truthful word to all people. As such, we prioritise honouring God through faithful and excellent Bible teaching, a keenness to learn from his word, and a commitment to obeying it in all aspects of our lives. See Luke 6:46-49 and 2 Timothy 3:16-4:2.

We value prayer because God, who is all-powerful and exceedingly generous, calls upon us to praise and thank Him for all he has done for us, to confess our sins, and to ask him for good gifts. See Matthew 7:7-11, Psalm 145:3-9, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 and 1 John 1:8-10.

We value all people because they have been created in the image of God, no matter their sex, culture, appearance, age or ability. Jesus said that we are to love one another as he has loved us, to love our neighbour as ourselves, and even to love our enemies. Therefore, we seek to embrace, welcome, love and serve all people just as Jesus did. See Mark 12:31, Luke 6:35, John 13:34-35, Genesis 1:26-27 and Galatians 3:28 and James 2:14-17.

We value meeting together regularly to honour and praise God, to learn from His word, to pray together, to spur one another on to love and good deeds and to encourage one another to keep on following Jesus to the end. We want our meetings to be marked by enjoyment, gladness and sincerity. See Matthew 18:20, Colossians 3:16-17, Hebrews 10:24-25 and Acts 2:46.

We value sharing the good news about Jesus. Jesus has called us to share the good news about him and so we encourage one another to use our different gifts to play our part in doing this in Lalor Park, Kings Langley and beyond. We are committed to supporting partners who are sharing the good news of Jesus in other places in Australia and overseas. See Matthew 28:18-20, Ephesians 4:11-16 and Philippians 4:10-19.
